Yom Kippur is the Jewish Day of Atonement, a day when, as a community, Jews are asked to reflect on their actions of the past year and to ask for atonement for any actions that were unskillful. In support of this day, NYI has been hosting a day of silence and reflection since 2003. (is that our 22nd anniversary???)
Each year we focus on a different theme, all related to the theme of atonement. This year's theme will explore What is the Dharma of Yom Kippur in times of conflict and separation? All are welcome to join us in this exploration.
Please pre-register if you plan to attend in person, as space is limited. To register for the online retreat, scroll down to the end of the page. This retreat is offered freely by the faciliators.
