MBSR Teacher 1:1 Mentoring for Certification 

Available on an ongoing basis - scheduled according to your MBSR teaching cycle..

10 Sessions (required for Certification): Mentoring takes place through a full MBSR cycle - beginning before the orientation session and following through until after the cycle is completed.

Together we explore the challenges, insights, and questions that arise in the laboratory of the classroom and in the laboratory of your heart and mind. As a mentee, you are asked to film your teaching for the entire cycle that you are engaged in the mentoring process. Each week, you will review the recording and choose brief (5-7 minute) clips to share with me. These clips can be any moment in class: moments of clarity, challenge, questions. They can be related to guiding practices, engaging in inquiry, presenting didactic material. The process of viewing and reflecting together creates the opportunity for us to have a window into the teaching process and relationship.

Together, we investigate and explore what is happening in the program week to week: in you as the teacher, in the group, and with the unfolding of the curriculum. 

Prerequisites:
- Completion of Foundations in MBSR, the Teacher Advancement Intensive, and the Group Mentoring and Curriculum Study Group
- Participation in 3 qualifying retreats.
